Everything started in 1640 in
Lisbon, when Portugal became independent from Catstella. In 1642, the King died
and only queen Adelina II stayed with her son Enrique Cortes. The Castelo
family wanted all the power for them. So, they wanted their daughter and the
prince to fet married. The Abbess and Caterina went to buy at the married. A poor
boy stole the engagement ring of Caterina. The Corregidor Joao saw it and put
him into jail. The Castelo family went to talk with the father of that boy.
They made a deal. They would leave their son free, but in return he should kill
the queen. The Da Silva family got a poison to kill the queen. In the party
that organized the Castelo family they were talking and the abbess heard the
plan. The abbess went to tell to the queen. At the end, the Castelo and Da
Silva family went to prisoner. But as Portugal was at war, they went out of the
prisoner. They went to Brazil, for start a new life.
